New Ethernet Touch Call Station ETCS Apr 17, 2019 We are excited to introduce our new Ethernet Touch Call Station ETCS. The new ETCS offers a simple and flexible handling for complex public address operations, just like modern smart phones. It provides users a complete new and intuitive way to operate the VARIODYN D1 system with a 7" touch screen. Only one device is needed to choose zones, announcements or other functions. The new ETCS with a 7" color LCD and touch functionality has also all the well-known and proven features of a conventional call station like integrated speaker for pre-listening, audio in/out, LED status indication, emergency announcement button and necessary monitoring to EN 54-16. And more new functions: • Connection to VARIODYN D1 system by redundant Ethernet ports • Multilingual Graphical User Interface (GUI) • Internal speech or audio memory up to 27 hours • Remote monitoring and configuration via the network • Controlling access with different user levels • Powering of the ETCS via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or external power supply • Live recording, replay and scheduler functions • Playing audio/music files directly from connected USB device • Controlling volume with intuitive slider operation • Checking of active call lists and system fault lists at any time • Uploading & downloading of complete D1 configuration file via D1 Designer software The new ETCS can be completely operated by the 7" touch screen. If needed it can be additionally extended with up to 3 Digital Key Modules DKM Plus with 18 buttons each. The configuration of the new ETCS is done by the touch screen and like the complete VARIODYN D1 system in the D1 Designer configuration software. To configure and operate the ETCS as a minimum the D1 Designer version V04.03R000 and DOM firmware version V03.05R000 is necessary. Both can be downloaded on our webpage. Together with our standard button Call Station DCS Plus and Fire Call Stations DCSF, the Ethernet Touch Call Station complements our portfolio of operating voice alarm and public address in the best suitable way for every situation. As accessory, we also included a suitable Power over Ethernet Switch into our portfolio. Like the ETCS it is tested and listed in the VARIODYN D1 EN 54-16 certificate.
